Nikon D90 again…
It was a friday night at 7pm, a friend of mine, Marvin Lee (a winner of Olympus E-520 from eoe online ) nudged me about a contest organised by microsoft and the grand prize is Nikon D90 !!! Windows XP going off market in June…
Microsoft originally announced over a year ago that Windows XP would be going off the market in January 2008. XP was later given a brief stay of execution, to June 30, 2008. That deadline is fast approaching, which has led to much panicking from people who aren’t quite sure what XP’s “going off market” means, exactly. People are still as confused as ever. Microsoft threatens Yahoo! with proxy battle
WASHINGTON: Microsoft issued a three-week ultimatum Saturday for Yahoo to accept its US$44.6 billion (RM141.8 billion) takeover offer or face a hostile battle for the support of the Internet giant’s shareholders. In an open letter t the Yahoo board of directors, Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballmer accused the company of avoiding serious negotiations over its February 1 offer and wared that any further delays could result in a less attractive offer for Yahoo. “We believe now is the time for our respective companies to authorise teams to sit down and negotiate a definitive agreement,” Ballmer said in the letter, which was posted on Microsoft’s website.
