I was there few months back too.. twice again.. Accompanying my friend to have the car serviced. And yes, what you've mentioned happened there... Newspapers & all.. toilet were there.. good thing they had a waiting room..(though its actually the office too..lol).. The Tv..I remembered..was Channel 1, Channel 2 & Channel 3. LOL...
