How to install WordPress on your own hosting and domain ?

1. You need to purchase a hosting and domain. Where to get it? One of my favorites webhost is Webhosting SKSA. If you need help on this, you can message me by dropping your comment here.
2. You need to download WordPress (so far, latest version 2.5), after that you extract it into a temporary folder. If you need help on this, you can message me by dropping your comment here.
3. You need FTP program to transfer your extracted wordpress file(refer no.2), pictures, songs and etc. There are many free FTP program can be used. Currently, I am using FILEZILLA. If you need help on this, you can message me by dropping your comment here.
4. Assuming that you have already transferred your wordpress file into your hosting. Normally I put at the root(linux) or httpdocs(windows). You need a database by creating database name, MySQL username and password at your hosting cpanel/Plesk 8.2.0.
5. Make a copy of this file wp-config-sample.php to wp-config.php. After that you edit this file and enter your database name, MySQL username and password.
6. More or less done, but now you can run your website for the first time http://youdomainname.com/wp-admn/install.php
7. Make sure you noted the username and password that given.
8. Then, you can start Blogging already. Good Luck!
