About the last MIS meeting, our Acting CEO has urged us to play a bigger role especially in the management information system. She also said that MIS Department must provide a system to be able to facilitate them in generating the corporate performance management report instead of wasting their time to work on it by manually. This will also help them to prepare their board paper for this coming board meeting in July 2008. Hence, the management asked us to decide whether we want to develop the system by ourselves or by looking for outsource system with the timeframe that has given us as they understood the few numbers of IT-person only in the department. In my opinion, we need to work smarter rather than cracking your head to these simple matters. So, I have decided to go for outsource system… Kekeke…

Back Pain…Ouchhh!!!

Lately, my girlfriend keep on complaining that her upper back hurts. I was worried as she told me that it hurts the most when she’s in a sitting position. That’s explain it. As I know, she spend most of the time on the computer at work, and then come home and surfing the net for another 3-4 and sometimes up to 6 hours ;) Upper back pain has become a familiar complaint from people who work at computers most of the day.

I would love to give her a massage on the back to soothe the pain. However, I’m not good at it. Maybe I should register myself at one of the massage therapy schools and become a masseur ;) Not! Well, in that case, the best thing I could do is to treat her for a massage therapy at any massage centre of her choice.

Note : Massage therapy has many benefits. It reduces stress, relieves pain and muscle tension, improves flexibility and circulation, and assists in healing injured muscles and joints

You are a true Sabahan when…
1) You drive at right lane of the road, with a speed of only 50 KM/H. If people horn behind you, you still don’t know what’s wrong.2) You have the luxury of working from 8 AM to 5 PM (get off work punctually).

3) You don’t believe that there is any ‘clean’ politician in Sabah.
4) You feel ‘obligated’ to reach the top of Mount Kinabalu at least once in a lifetime.
5) You prefer a big car than a big house (probably you can’t drive a big house around to show off).
6) You wear slipper and short wherever you go, even in city.
7) You still think that Labuan belongs to Sabah.
8) You will not go to any FREE seminar / function that has no food or refreshment.
9) You don’t care about service. You just want things cheap, cheap, cheap.

Second Homes…

Tip of Borneo is one of the potential luxury vacation second homes. It is also known as Simpang Mengayau. With such a beautiful place and I always wanted to take more photos especially the beautiful sunsets in the evening. You also can see the breath-taking view of wide and open coastline. It is considered one of the most beautiful spots in Sabah, and all the work is done by the nature.

However, owning a second home may be as common as owning a second car. LoL!!! Something that many people would like to have but no one needs.

If you want to become a buyer of potential luxury vacation second homes, Fractional Ownership provides the solution to these problems by allowing a buyer to pay only a fraction of the costs and ongoing expenses of vacation home ownership.

I’m No Golfer

Have you ever had a really embarrassing moment in your life? I’m sure we’ve all had some pretty embarrasing moments that we’d like to forget about. But sometimes the embarrasing moment can be funny too.  It will make you laugh when you think of it.

It started when my uncle came to our house to look for my dad but he was not around. Actually my uncle wanted to take something that he left in our house. It was this so called “Callaway Irons” which I thought was a new brand for clothes iron.

When he asked me to take the callaway irons for him which he said that he put it inside the store room, I without asking too much went and looked for the clothes iron. After searching for the whole store and couldn’t find it, I went back and told him that there was no iron there. He looked at me (I think he almost laugh at me but he tried not too) and told me that he’s actually looking for his golf equipment. How on earth do I know what callaway irons is?

( P/s: If my uncle asked for Panasonic Irons then I know la Kekekeke!!! )
